The problem
Self-directed learning stalls on structure — tutorials fragment, courses go stale, and most AI learning tools lock you into one provider's models and pricing.
The approach
Bring-your-own-key against any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. The AI SDK generates a Zod-validated outline once, then lazily fills each lesson with content, quizzes, sandboxed code challenges, and flashcards — all cached in SQLite. Stable lesson IDs let “Update with AI” refresh a plan against new developments without wiping progress.
The outcome
A personal curriculum that stays current — with XP, streaks, and spaced repetition doing the motivational work a course platform would.
